Reading Success
Ms. Kesterson was my son's Kindergarten teacher in Mountain View, California. Looking back, we feel so blessed to have her as his 1st teacher. When my son Aaron started school, he didn't know how to write his name or letters, nor did he read. After one year, he was reading beginner chapter books and writing short stories and poems. Even more importantly, he has developed a love for reading and learning.
Aaron continues to have a very positive attitude towards school, thanks to the solid 1st year foundation Ms. Kesterson has laid. I should also mention that Aaron started out very shy, but really blossomed in the nurturing environment of his class and the whole school.
Ms. Kesterson really has a talent for teaching children, especially young children. She adapts her teaching method to the individual learning preferences and needs of each child. She is kind, yet firm as a teacher. She is a wonderful person to get to know and for anyone to consider as a teacher.

I had the immense fortune to have Peggy Kesterson as a teacher for 3 of my children. Peggy brings a passion to the classroom that I have only seen in one other teacher. That is saying a lot as a mother of 5 teen kids who went through a few schools. She is the perfect balance of fun and firm, easily getting even my difficult son to participate and learn.
I am grateful that my kids got to have Peggy in their lives starting at a young age, it definitely helped shape their character as she is always humble, helpful and kind. I think of her as the perfect role model. I always appreciated Peggy for the way she communicated with me about any progress or concerns. My children, now in high school and college still remember her and hold her in high regard.
It is for these and many other reasons that I would like to recommend Peggy to any position where she is teaching children. I have seen her teach multiple grades and subjects, she is qualified and knowledgeable but more than that she is dedicated to improving the knowledge and lives of those around her.
